GB YG10 Tungsten Carbide (K30)

GB YG10 (GB/T 30892, ISO K30) — 10 % Co tungsten carbide, HRA 90–91. Compare with YG6 and YG15 for heavy-impact granulator blades.

GB YG10 (GB/T 30892, ISO K30) — 10 % Co tungsten carbide, HRA 90–91. Compare with YG6 and YG15 for heavy-impact granulator blades.

GB YG10 (GB/T 30892) is a 10 % Co tungsten carbide — ISO K30 classification. HRA 90.0–91.0. Higher Co content than YG6 means greater impact resistance, lower wear resistance. Used for granulator rotor blades and heavy-impact wear parts where K20 would chip.

Standard composition: WC 90 %, Co 10 %, no grain-growth inhibitors, WC grain 1.5–2.0 µm

Hardness: HRA 89.0–90.5 (≈ HRC 76–78)

Heat treatment: Sintered at 1,380–1,460 °C, no further heat treatment

Properties: Standard medium-Co YG10. Higher toughness than YG6 with only slightly lower hardness.

Applications: Medium-impact granulator rotors, shear inserts, wear parts requiring moderate impact resistance.

Cross-reference: ≈ ISO K30, no precise Western equivalent.
