How to Choose a Slitter or Shear Blade for Foam and Rubber Cutting
Foam and rubber substrates are gummy, abrasive and chemically variable. The wrong blade grade galls immediately, the wrong edge geometry produces a torn surface, and the wrong cooling makes the problem worse.
